A great new transparency tool for responsible consumers: Buy’r

I just found an app I think many of us in the responsible consumer space should know about: Buy’r.

Their core idea is simple and powerful: help people understand who they are really buying from before they spend money.

If you care about where your dollars go—and what kind of business behavior your purchases support—this is exactly the kind of tool worth trying.

Check it out here:

https://www.buyrapp.com

Why I like it:

– It aligns with the mission of this site

– It encourages informed purchasing, not impulse buying

– It helps close the information gap between brands and consumers

I’ll be exploring it more and may share follow-up notes after more real-world use. If you test it too, I’d love to hear what you think.

A quick reset: what this site is about in 2026

I’ve let this site sit for a while, but the mission is still the same: responsible consumerism.

Going forward, I’ll keep posts shorter and more practical:

– what to buy (and avoid)

– how to spot greenwashing

– small choices that compound over time

If you’re still here reading, thank you. We’re all buying the future—whether we mean to or not.
